When I first started reading Megan Goodwin and Ilyse Morgenstein Fuerst book Religion is Not Done With You I was confused. I did not understand what their premise was. The title confused me a bit. I was still intrigued.

Goodwin and Fuerst’s concept of viewing all religions globally, meaning not taking one precedence over the other helped me have a different perspective. There are so many different types of religions on the Earth. None of them are better than the other. All of them have power in the economy, government, and culture of the people.

This book goes through all of that and a bit more. It is a small book, but a mighty book. I appreciate how they approach the subject. They are respectful and kind. When approaching a subject like religion or politics it can get messy and end up in a cruel nasty debate that hurts people.

I am glad that I took the time to read this book and not run.
