“Here for It” by Amy Weatherly and Jess Johnston, a book about friendship. Authentic, complicated, and beautiful friendships. I was not sure if I was going to like this book, but it had a great Queso recipe. I am glad I read it. I like how the chapters were structured and the titles had Recipes for but it wasn’t for food, but for real life things. I found common things that still affect me as a fifty year old. I love that these two women took on chapters by themselves and were honest with their shortcomings.
Friendships should be held sacredly, carefully, and with kindness. I love this is promoted throughout this book. In the many different scenarios they present. You can see the fruits of the spirit represented in their writing.
This is a good read. That reminds you to hold your people close.
