This year I have been reading more children’s books than I have ever in my life. I have some great nephews that will be born at the end of September and December and then one that was born May over a year ago. I love having these books available for me to give and to read to them, so I am influencing what kind of humans they become. Paula Faris’ children’s book reminds us that we want to be the best grown ups who treat people and animals with kindness and respect. She didn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up, but she knew what kind of person she wants to be. I love this.
The art work in the book is amazing, well done, colorful, and absolutely gorgeous. This is a great book for children to read and learn how to be a better person.
