The World’s Longest Sock reminds me of the funny story of the woman who swallowed the fly. Two people, one a lumber jack and the other a grandmother from Chile start each knitting socks, and soon they have a contest with each other to see who can make the longest sock. It is a cute story. This book teaches good sportsmanship, you can be a humble and kind person even if you do not win what you want to. The illustrations in this book are colorful and well done and go well with the story. The story is easy to read and understand. I have a little girl in mind that I hope will enjoy receiving this book for Christmas. Books are a gret gift for Christmas.
