Suzanne Woods Fisher newest book Anything but Plain is a book about the Amish and their lifestyle and it is a romance. I’m not book on Amish types of books, Although, this is not one of my favorites, the writing is excellent. It is simple and the description and research is apparent. I like that. Fisher is a good writer. No doubt about it. Just because I am not a fan of Amish type of romance books does not mean someone else will not enjoy reading this book. I believe this would be a good book to get lost in during the fall and winter months when us chronic illness warriors need a good book to read to get our minds off of our physical and mental pain. Therefore, I will recommend this book.
