Devotional time with God is something that I do daily. It centers me to have a good day. I don’t feel right when I don’t have devotional time. I got a new devotional that I have started called “Daily Devotions From Psalms” by Joyce Meyer. Joyce Meyer is a writer and minister that I have high respect for because she is respectful, blunt, and also has a kind side that may be hard to see. I know this, because Joyce and I communicate in the same way, direct, honest, blunt, and to the point. We don’t use unnecessary words when we talk or write. This devotional showcases her style of communication and her dedication and purpose of letting people know that they are loved and cared for by God. That we have the tools we need and prayer and follow the concepts in the Bible will help us live well and be who God created us to be for our purpose. He is after our center. I like this a lot.
Like I said I started this devotional. It is a year long and I am only two weeks in, this is the devotional I will be doing for the end of 2022 and for a part of 2023. I recommend any of her books and this devotional on the Psalms is a great start. It would make a great Christmas gift.
