This is a book about being deceived, abandoned, and betrayed and then learning to forgive and live well afterwards. This book is centered around FBI Agent Madison Thorn and her messy life and going back to her home town and learning even more dark secrets about her family and finding forgiveness. Being deceived and learning to forgive is one of those human experiences we all have experienced so we can connect to this story. This was the perfect story to get lost in while trying to forget a pain day. I love how Bradley describes the area and all the her characters. This is a great novel to get lost in.
