Susan May Warren’s new book “Sunburst” was a great book to get lost in while being in the hospital getting tests done and waiting hours for the results. I read the first book of the series “Sunrise” and I look forward to the other books in the series when they come out.
This is a story of the brother Ranger who goes on a rescue mission to Nigeria to help his brother out who has gotten into trouble. Ranger meets a woman Noemi who he knew in a previous mission. This story is full of action and complicated relationships that ends up in a peaceful resolution. Warren has a great storytelling ability that I enjoy. Her writing is simple, but at the same time elegant. I love how descriptive she is in detailing the areas she is in and the dynamics between the characters. All components in a good story. I look forward to the third book that is coming out in November according to the website. The first one “Sunrise” is a great one too.
