This is a cute kids book. What drew me to this book was the illustrations of the Raccoons. My family has a special place for Raccoons. Maiden name Coon. Family collects anything with Raccoons on them. So I was happy to see this cute book, because I have a brand new nephew to read to now and this would be a great book for him. The cardboard book would make it easy for him to hold and play with as he learns to read himself and the story is between a father and a child. I love that it is between a father and a child, there are not a lot of books that have that dynamic and I think it is important for a child to know that their father loves them too. This would be a perfect book for a father to read to their child before bed and establish that bond between them. Bonding is important and this book illustrates that perfectly. Who does not love chocolate and S’mores? I know I do.
