This weekend I got lost in a story world of Russian History and Faberge Egg and a father and daughter relationship that needed healing. This is a fabulous story and the author does a great job maneuvering through the time era differences between each story. I do not know a lot about Russian history, but I could tell that the author researched it well and put a lot of thought into how and what she wrote. I appreciate her thoughtfulness and integrity to the story. My caregiver is Russian, and I will be letting her read this book because I think she would appreciate this story. I know I do. This was a great novel to get lost into for the weekend during a period where sleeplessness from steroids I must take for my GPA is happening.
