March has started with a big bang for me. My new electric wheelchair had a new complication. It suddenly wouldn’t turn on. I checked and tried to charge it. It wouldn’t even charge. Thankfully, I already called for a repair because the controller arm was loose. Yesterday, Friday, the tech repair guy came and fixed my chair. Apparently, the piece that connects the controller to the battery came disconnected. He fixed it and tightened the arm. It took him 20 minutes. I’m thankful.
I had a doctor appointment yesterday with my immunologist. My IGG levels are still too low. They were at 597 and he wants me to be at 900 to 1000. I started at 97, so the Hirentza treatments are working. He is increasing my dose for the Hirentza from 10 grams to 13 grams. I sometimes feel like I never win anything. Something always happens. I do not stay in this mind-frame for long. I make choices to move forward and accept that suffering is part of life and it can be used as a lesson to learn to live well anyway.
Now onto my March goals:
- Call Nu-motion to fix the arm on my chair
- Call about the second shot on my Covid-19 Vaccine
- Get into and start physical therapy.
- Clean out and organize my closet.
- Clean out and organize my shelves in my kitchen.
- Read 3 books and write reviews for them.
- Send cards to several of my tribe members.
- Get blood work done.
- Organize and clean out my plants and replant and start herbal seeds.
- Practice breathing exercises with my counselor.
These are my goals for March. I have already accomplished a couple of them. I have appointments to start the other ones like the physical therapy.
Remember to keep breathing. Enjoy the process!
