I have never read a Lisa Jewell novel, so when Once Upon a Book Club showed up in my mailbox with a signed copy of The Night She Disappeared I was looking forward to diving into this book.
I enjoyed the storyline. It is a sad story of a couple who disappears after a night out leaving behind their one-year-old son who is staying at the young woman’s moms’ home while they went out for the night. Jewell did a good job going through the time periods of the story. There were some parts I wished Jewell would have developed the story more towards the end. Anyway, for my first time read of this author I liked this book. I will invest my time in reading a different novel of Jewell’s in the future.
