In 2021, one of my goals was to read more novel (fiction) instead of non-fiction. I had a habit of reading a ton of non-fiction books. I did not read very many fiction stories. The Bookshop of Yesterdays by Amy Meyerson was a book that I purchased on Amazon, and I was finally able to read it at the end of this year. It is a great story. Meyerson has a way of weaving a story and building characters that I could get loss in. This is a book about trauma and how you choose to handle the trauma when it happens and how it impacts those around you. This is also a book about relationships and discovering that family lies that seem well intentions sometimes have dire consequences that cause even more pain. This is a great book to invest your time in reading.
