Last night I could not sleep, so I picked up In Another Light by A.J. Banner to read. I received this book in my Once Upon A Book Club subscription box a few months ago. I have a big pile of books to read, and it takes me a bit to get to books. I have a couple of books to read in my pile from the subscription box.
This book was great. I enjoyed the story line. It was part thriller and part mystery. It centered on a woman who worked at a morgue where a body of a woman came in that looked like her and the lady had her picture in her purse. Creepy, right? It had me intrigued and I am glad that I invested the time in reading this story. It kept my mind off the pain I was feeling in my feet and from being cold. This book would be a great for getting into your comfy and warm pajamas, brewing yourself a hot cup of tea, lighting a candle, and snuggling under the blanket with your favorite pet. I snuggled with my sweet boy Nicholas.
I discovered Banner has four other books that I am going to explore when I get my pile of books to read down to a manageable size. Being a book nerd when does that happen? I have a big grin on my face when I say that. Just
