I aspire to have a picture-perfect home that is well organized, clean, looks picture ready for those fabulous photos and no clutter anywhere. My reality is far from this. I live in a small one-bedroom apartment, and I have a ton of medical supplies that I use for my trach, for my IVIG treatments, and to take care of my other health issues. This makes clutter. This makes a cluster of different messes everywhere. I feel like a hoarder. I am not. Just feels like that sometimes. When I get books like Jenn Johnson’s All Things Lovely I use them as an inspiration to aim for. Everyone’s home needs to represent them. Mine does. I have my sea glass windchime hanging next to a big window next to my tall plant stand from the 50’s that I got from my mom. It has a ton of plants on it. I will always work on making my home a haven for myself and my health needs. This book is also full of ideas for your health with recipes that look delicious and that children would enjoy eating them. The beef stew and pancakes yum. I just might have to make them. It is the season for stews and soups. I love the photographs in this book. I sat and starred at them and dreamed about how I want my ideal home to look. A great way to spend a pain day!
