Empties For October 2021

October sure went by fast, didn’t it? I was amazed. Here are some great products I tried this month. Self-care was a challenge for me, but I forced myself to do it. Skin care is vital for me. I have sensitive skin and taking care of it is one of my goals. That is why I do a face mask twice a week and moisturize daily. This month I included other things that I have been using for my self-care including a couple of food items, candles, and other things as they come up. As I wrote in my previous post, I am struggling with my breathing so some things I have had to change. Being flexible because of my chronic illness is a daily thing for me. I know many chronic illness warriors who do the same thing.

• Generex Purifying Soothing Mask: Wonderful mask, makes my skin feel amazing.
• Confiere Bougie Evergreen Candle: This candle smells like fall and Christmas. A soy wax candle, which is my favorite kind. This smelled amazing.
• Musee Oh What A Night Detox Bath Soak: The spearmint and Blood orange essential oils along with the Dead Sea salt and the French green clay made this feel luxurious.
• Elevated Scentz Bayou Waters Candle: This scented candle is sweet water, oakmoss, and mint. I only burned a bit of this candle. The smell caused me to cough badly. I liked the smell, but the combination of this scent made me cough. I don’t know if it was the sweet water or the oakmoss. Because I diffuse mint daily in my diffuser, so it was not that scent. I was bummed.
• Scentuals Sleep Well Body Lotion: This uses Avocado oil and Olive oil along with essential oils. I have used this on my body before bed for the last three months.
• Elmolu Relief Bio Cellulose Mask: This one felt strange. The texture of the mask is different.
• Needley Desertica Calming Mask: I enjoyed this mask. My face felt amazing afterwards.
• Mint Biology Seaweed Collage Eye Treatment Masks: These were fun to wear. They were gold and I felt like I was a football player getting ready to rumble.
• Herbs Fit Lavender Sheet Mask: This mask smelled wonderful and went on nicely.
• York Zero Sugar Peppermint Patties: Yum!
• Applegate Naturals Turkey Uncured Pepperoni: I love pepperoni, but the pork in it bothers me so I don’t get to have it on my pizza unless I want a battle after I eat. I was excited to discover on Amazon Fresh this pepperoni. It is delicious. It has a nice peppery flavor, and it is a good snack and not greasy.
• Hanalei Island Aloe Gel: I used this aloe gel as a face moisturizer. I love it. Great product.
• Yerma Acai Berry Collagen Essence Mask: This was a bit weird, especially around the eyes. Not one of my favorites.
• Generation Skin Hydrating Marine Algae Eye Masks: This container had 30 pairs of these eye masks. Oh my goodness took me a long time to use them up. I like these because they were gel and stayed on while I did other things.
• Grace & Stella Energy Drink Eye Masks: These are fun. They are made of gold.
• The Crème Shop Rose Gold Fusion Sheet Mask: I’m not a fan of this mask because they have some weird flap things on the eye holes. Why in the world. The rose in this mask smelled amazing and felt luxurious. But the eye flap things made me not want to purchase it.
• Elevated Scentz Southern Nights Candle: Soy wax candle that smells like a good smelling man that makes my toes curl. How I would like my man to smell. Scents of Amber and citrus.
• Glowiest Peekaboo Skin Perfecting Toner: This toner was amazing for my skin type. It was gentle with the moringa extract and the witch hazel. I will purchase this product again.
• The Crème Shop Coconut and Chia Seed Fusion Sheet Mask: I could smell the coconut in this mask from the coconut oil. It felt amazing. I still do not understand the eye part of this mask. Maybe one day I will get it.
• Scentuals Sleep Well Essential Oil Blend Roll On: I have been using this roll-on blend I received for the last 6 months. I like the smell and it does help me sleep well.
• London Luxury Candles Abundance: This was an interesting candle with crystals in it and other things.
• Isola Peppermint Lip Scrub: I have never used a lip scrub before. I like it. It has helped my lips stay hydrated and smooth instead of dry and crackly.
• Facetory Everyday Jasmine Mask: I am enjoying this mask. Feels good on my face. The jasmine smells nice.
• FDS Intimate Body Dry Spray: Even though I got the no scent one it still knocked me out with the smell. I will be looking for another brand to try.
• Beverly & 3^rd Candle Company “Happy Camper” Candle: This smells amazing. This soy wax candle comes in a tiny glass jar. Smells like fall. Perfect.
• Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Mask: Fun to wear.
• ESW Beauty Pineapple Bliss Mask: Not my favorite.
