I find this book interesting. Especially the chapter about inviting guests and how to choose who will come. The author brought up excluding people who do not fit your purpose. The reason I find this interesting is because we live in a world where inclusion is a topic. We must include everyone and accept people, so my question is how do we exclude from our gatherings, but still include? Just something I thought about while reading this. Other than that, I thought Parker brought up some great points and ideas on how our gatherings are important and how to do it well. If you want to be more intentional with your gatherings of people for parties, business meetings, community parties then read this book. It is insightful and intelligently written. I was given many opportunities to evaluate my opinions on gatherings. I believe you will too.
