Yep, I got to read another Joyce Meyer book. I had a tough time reading this book, not because it was not good, but because it knocked me in the head more so than usual. I am going to admit to you that I compare myself all the time to others. Since I have become a chronic illness warrior, I have found myself comparing myself more and more. This speaks to that issue well. One of the things I love about Joyce Meyer’s books is her authentic and blunt perspective. I have never felt judged by her books. I can see her heart where she wants to help people.
One warning, be prepared to be knocked in the head and have a lot to process while reading this book. I’m still processing. That is the genesis of a great book and author.
