Empties for August

It is hard to believe that this is the last day of August. It went by super fast, didn’t it? I was scheduled for my next dilation surgery for my throat on September 1st, but it was cancelled because of the hospitals being at 95 percent closer and the new Delta variant running rampid right now. It is safer if I postpone until after this wave of Covid-19. I am not going to rant here about how I feel about this, because I do not wish to hurt anyone’s feelings and this is not what this post is about. This post is about all the great things I got to use for my self-care this month. I have quite the list.

• Sandawha Calendula Mask: This is a smooth mask that feels amazing on my skin. It is see through, and covers my face well. It stays on well too. Calendula is so good for your skin and body. Wonderful!
• Slow North Rosemary and Lemon Candle: I got this in my Cause Box. I loved the smell of this soy candle and essential oils. I loved the cork top lid that allowed me to distinguish the candle when I am done burning.
• VO Super Bamboo Light Day Cream: I got this product in my Thera box. The consistency was weird, and I did not like it. It felt so weird on my face. Kind of like I was rubbing plastic on. The texture was wrong.
• Detoskin Lily Floris Mask: I am loving this mask and how it makes my skin feel. It stays put so that I can move about and type or read a book or just walk around. I usually have issues with the upper lip area part being too thin for me so it moves around, with this I am not having that issue. Love it.
• Tamed Wild Heart Chakra Artisan Herbal Tea: Blend of Hibiscus, orange, lemon balm, cloves, lavender, and licorice root. Good timing since August I was working on the Heart Chakra. It tasted good with honey added.
• Facetory Sun Bae Soothing Mask: I love how this feels on my skin. It went on my face well.
• SkinSix Canadian Glacial Water Luminous Mask: I got this from Facetory. I enjoyed it. Made my face feel great.
• Keep Cool and Shine Intensive Brightening Mask: I love how this mask feels. It stays on and clings to my face well so that I can do other things while I am taking care of my skin. My skin is smooth and feels wonderful afterwards. I love that too.
• Luna & Rae Candle Company Sea Grass and Citrus Candle: I got this candle from the Vella Box. I am loved this soy candle. It smelled like the beach. I miss the beach.
• Pestle & Mortar Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum: I got this serum from my spring Fab Fit Fun box. I added a couple of drops to my moisturizer. Wonderful stuff.
• Be Shine Jewelry Mask: I got this face mask from Facetory. I love how it clings to my face and allows me to move about while I am wearing it for twenty minutes. I also love how smooth and soft my face is afterwards.
• Facetory Artemisia Pore Refining Toner Mist: I liked this product well. It helped my skin heal.
• Challans de Paris Masque de Aurora Advanced skin repair sheet mask: This mask felt wonderful on my face. It helped my face with some red blotching I have been having around my mouth.
• The World Apothecary Company When Life Gives You Lemons Candle: I got this candle in a subscription box. It smelled so good while burning. It is soy wax.
• Amazon Fresh: I have been using this service for groceries on Amazon. Where you pick things out and they deliver them to your door. Perfect for Chronic Babes like me who do not want to be exposed to Covid-19 and other illnesses with our compromised immune system.
• Let Me Skin Ultra Bubble Mask: I got this from my Facetory subscription. It felt word watching the mask foam up and bubble on my face. I felt like the creature from the black lagoon. It felt nice on my face. It was just weird to watch.
• Be Plain Cicaful Calming Mask: I received this mask in my Facetory pack for the month a couple of months ago. I was disappointed in this mask. It did not fit my face well, especially around my lips. I hate that. I could only stand to have it on for the shortest amount as possible.
• Symbiosis London Blemish Treatment Serum: I got this in a subscription box a couple of months ago. I love this product. It works well for me. I will purchase again.
• Calm Within Chaos Candle: Love the smell of this candle.
