Community is something that I strive to connect and be part of. I hated competing and competitions when I was younger, and I still do. I rather work together than compete. I think the world would be a much better place if we all had that mindset. Built to Belong by Natalie Franke is a book on working together as a community in business instead of competition. I appreciate this book so much. I appreciate that she values the relationship over the money. I also love that she believes like I do that social media is not the issue it is the people who are not connecting on social media that is the problem. When I read that she does not go onto social media just to scroll but to connect with someone otherwise she does not go on it. I love that. That is the part of social media that I enjoy. I enjoy connecting with friends and family new and old and getting to know them. That is why I have started using my conversation starter cards on there, because I want to know my community and I want to build a relationship with them.
