This is my third James R. Hannibal novel I have read. I enjoy his writing and stories. The Paris Betrayal is set around a spy that is trying to find out info about a bioweapon and has a snipper after him and being infected that is claiming his body. I love how he is going through the changes from his company, his relationships, and the emotional things that happen when you are sick while at the same time trying to save the world. Although, this is a male character I still felt his emotional state while handling an illness and the company that he worked for going on with trying to stop a terrorist without him.
I believe both men and women who are dealing with a chronic illness or changes in their lives would value this storyline and enjoy the action points in this book.
