Lately, I have been into strong women characters who fight crime and kick butt doing it. I love Kadance character because she is a sniper, and she is strong and the author has written her as capable in taking care of herself. She has some issues, but who does not. The male character Lyndon is a nerdy scientist and has some secrets of his own. This book took me a couple of days to read. I love how Koslin writes. She uses simple language but in a way that is easily understood. I felt like she had done her research and sometimes you can tell that the author did not do enough research.
If you love strong women characters who kick butt, then this is the book for you. This was perfect for the night I had a hard time sleeping due to my chronic illness. It kept me rivetted and focused on the story and not my pain.
