Beyond face masks I have not thought about masks for other parts of my body, like the lips or hands or feet or butt. This time around I received a hand mask in my subscription box and so I thought I would try it. With all the handwashing I have been doing because of Covid-19 my hands have been dry and I have been lathering them with lotion several times a day. I got two of them in my box, so I recruited my caregiver to do it with me, so we did.

The process was disgusting. Imagine putting your hand into something slimy and wet and having to keep them there for 20 minutes while not being able to use your hands, so my caregiver and I laughed and talked while we waited for the timer to go off. The masks were easy to put on even one handed. When I took my gloves off and allowed the wet gunk to dry my hands were so soft and it was worth the slimy process to get my soft hands. A week later my hands are still soft, and I am only applying lotion once a day. I would do another hand mask. I think hand masks would be wonderful gifts to give nurses, doctors, and other health care professionals who must constantly wash their hands throughout the day. This is an excellent product and I recommend it.
