In December I started a book on prayer by Caroline Myss called Intimate Conversations with the Divine. Myss is a Catholic and the way she prays is beautiful and like she talks to God all the time with grace, confidence, and intimacy I wish I had when I pray. It is a challenge for me to talk openly about my pain, thoughts, doubts, and what is going inside of my head with God or anyone that I am close with. I aim to become intimate with God on a deeper level.
Myss’ book helps you become that way. She prays on humility, love, peace, doubts, and all those emotions that have been running amok in 2020. If you want to dive into prayer and be inspired and encouraged to become more intimate with God, then I recommend reading this book.
