2020 has been a strange year. This year I have read over 1000 books. I have no idea how that happened. I have never done this before. What helped me read so many books were using my Kindle. Last Christmas I got a Kindle Fire. I love it. I use it all the time. I just never thought of using it to read books on it. Having an actual book in my hands is still my favorite way to read, but the Kindle does have possibilities. I read more this year than I have any other year in my life. I am amazed at how many books and E-books I read. My goal for 2021 will be modest. I will have the same goal as I have had since I signed up for Good Reads. That is 250 books. That is doable. 1000 is a fluke, a happy fluke. I doubt I can repeat it. That being said.
In 2021, I aim to read more fiction. I miss reading fiction. I read a lot of non-fiction books. I will still read them, but I want to read more novels. I have discovered some great book reviewers on YouTube that I have been enjoying. They shared their to be read pile and I put some of their suggestions on my Amazon list so that I can look for it at the library or purchase my own copy.
If you have a Good Reads account feel free to connect with me and share your book lists with me. I plan to become more intentional with what I share on my social media accounts. I want to connect with people and discover what makes them tick besides religion and politics. I plan on asking a specific question every day on my Facebook page. I have already started.
I am excited to be starting a new year of reading soon. How about you?
