This morning I am sitting on my bed listening to IHeart Radio For King and Country station as I write and wait for my caregiver to show up. So much has happened since I came home from the hospital. Nicholas still has not left my side. He currently is laying beside me touching my leg, he has to be touching me, snuggling up to me. I am not complaining. It is not his normal behavior. It is sweet. He missed me a lot. I missed him a lot too.

I saw my ENT and I asked for a referral to a lung specialist to get my lungs looked at. The two bacterias in my lungs are rare forms of pneumonia and we cannot figure out how the heck I got them. One form is only found on the skin, so how the heck did it get into my lungs. Weird! The other is a form only found when you are using a ventilator. I do not use a ventilator so this is puzzling. I am hoping that the lung specialist will help me with this puzzle too.

Washington state is shutting down for four weeks because we are having a record number of covid-19 cases in our state. This is scary to me, but I am prepared. I don’t go out much. My caregiver goes to the store for me and runs my errands. I only go out when I go to the doctor and I wear a mask. I am protecting myself. I cannot take any risks of getting this illness with my compromised immune system.

I am working on some book reviews I will be posting and some articles that I am writing for Wellness Works NW. Like Wellness Works NW on Facebook and Twitter we will be having some great contests of some great prizes. Stay tuned.

Keep breathing!
