I love that this is a family perspective, from the mother and father and that Emily is alive and doing well. It has a happy ending. I love memoirs of strong people who are fighting for their lives and how they experience the pain and suffering and rely on God’s shoulders to get them through. I also love how the neighbors, from doctors, family, friends, and community of home and churches prayed and helped this family thrive.
