As someone who lives with a chronic illness that at times leaves me in pain or suffering from insomina I have learned to value books that allow me to get lost in a different story. The Gryphon Heist by James R. Hannibal is one of these stories that I recently got lost in.
Here is what I loved about reading Hannibal:
- The short chapters. This allowed me to read for a bit in a doctor’s office or appointment and not have to stop in the middle of a scene.
- That one of the hereos is a woman…
- The descriptions and powerful images in the book describing Jesus and art.
I am looking foreward to book two from Hannibal to get continue getting lost in the story of Talia Inger… I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves espionnage stories.
