Kingdom Come by Melissa Zaldivar’s new book caused my heart and my mind to whirl. The insightful thoughts, Biblical descriptions, and scripture references were quoted with respect and with clear understanding of how to feel God within.

Chapters like Just Do the Dang Thing and Kingdome instinct spoke to me the most. With my illness’ I have struggled and still struggle with trusting God and His plan for me. Not knowing where the edges are or what is in front of me causes my heart to go pitter patter as I have walked this adventurous medical road. I often times find myself feeling envious of people who seem to be able to talk to God clearly and with no voice telling them that they sound stupid or that God doesn’t hear me because I am damaged goods. I have been and am still processing those negative voices in my head. Listening to podcasts and reading deeply insightful books like Melissa Zaldivar helps clear my mind of the interwoven negative thoughts that stall mate in my journey.

I am of the opinion that many of my chronic illness friends and family members would benefit from reading this book too.
