A Brave Face is a powerful story about one woman who saw a little girls picture from Iraq who was burned from a bombing and decided to help that little girl. I am moved with the generosity of Barbara Marlowe and her devotion to Teeba. I’m also in awe of Teeba who is one strong young lady. Who is brave, resilient, and still able to live well anyway and love God with all of her heart.
This memoir shows why giving and loving someone no matter what condition, language, or religion they are is exactly what Jesus taught. It shows what can happen. This is what love is like and about. It gives hope and it shows the strength and authenticity of one young woman.
