I enjoy reading stories about great doctor and patient relationships. As a challenging patient, myself, I often times hear horror stories more than positive ones. In Rewire by Ajay K. Seth, you step into a world where a woman gets bitten by a Raccoon and then ends up losing her arm. They can’t find the infection or bacteria that is causing all of this trouble. Not on that, but this doctor learns a new medical procedure to help amputees to feel and use their arms with prosthetics better.
I wish I had Melissa (the patients) positive attitude and strength, and I’m thankful to say that I have my own doctor that is willing to stand by me and help me through the challenges. With the new nerve surgery they can now help wounded soilders. I love that. Somehow there is a point to the pain that Melissa suffered.
