Every now and again there comes a book that just sparks encouragement into your soul through scripture. In Shauna Letellier’s new Book Remarkable Hope she does this by using her own vivid words to put new life into Jesus wisdom and journey when he was on Earth.
I have been experiencing a lot of disappointment the last few months and somehow I have lost my way, but this book has helped me to see that perhaps my pain, trauma, and disappointments will produce a different geographical region in my life, heart, and soul. Perhaps, it will even guide others do accept suffering as a part of the journey. That it is okay to Lament and to keep moving through the suffering while Jesus holds your hand.
I believe other chronic illness warriors like myself should read this book and experience what I have exeprienced.
