Warfare, spiritual warfare whenever I hear this I get a pit in my stomach. I’ve been taught about spiritual warfare between the angelic angels of God and Satan and his demons. I know in the end God wins, he will always win. Yet, the part I don’t like is the actual war part. I have also been taught about the protection armor that God has provided for us to fight this war with the angels. I’m thankful for this. In Perry Stone’s book This Season of Angels he gives us a new view of looking at the Angels and their intense war of the darkness of Satan’s demons. He gives a lot of scripture references to back up what he is proclaiming. I’m not sure about their accuracy or how true they are. However, I’m not a Bible scholar. I do believe in Angels and the roles that God has them in our lives and one of those roles is fighting in the spiritual war with demons to help God’s people through the process of war. I’m grateful that we are not alone in this fight.
Although, I had a hard time getting into this book, it was just too dry of writing I still found value in reading Stones book and learning more about what scripture says about angels. For me, I need to study more of Gods word and this book would be a great opportunity to do so.
