I enjoy reading. I enjoy getting lost in a story and visualizing myself in the plot line of a great novel. Shelter of the Most High by Connilyn Cossette is one of those novels that you start reading and have a hard time putting down.
Shelter of the Most High centers around an ancient time period in the city of Kedesh a city of refuge where people go who are seeking a safe place to go. The characters are well developed and the story line kept me hooked until the end. The descriptions of making swords and knives was interesting and I never would have thought that pirates were apart of history way back then. I look forward to reading more on this series of stories. All the books I have read from Cossette have kept me intrigued and focused until the very end.
I have a lot of physical pain and getting lost in a story helps me to focus on something other than my pain and novels like Cossette help me to deal with my pain.
