One of my favorite things to do is to read a historical novel. I got a chance to read Lynn Austin’s new novel Legacy of Mercy. I dove right in and I had a hard time putting it down once I got started. It is romance, but it isn’t one of those gross types of romance where they describe in detail the sexual aspects of relationships.
I could tell that Austin did a lot of research into history by what she wrote and how she describes so Anna’s city, and relationships. I really connected with the character Anna because she was adopted and didn’t have a lot of great information about her birth mom and father. Her adoptive parents are lovely people, just like mine are.
Getting lost in a story is one way that this chronic babe uses to keep her mind off of her pain. This one is one of the wonderful stories that I had the pleasure of reading.
