I enjoy reading historical novels just as Lady of a Thousand Treasures by Sandra Byrd. In this amazing novel by Byrd she takes you on an intriguing journey through the world of rare, beautiful, and mysterious treasures that people collect. It is much more than that, it is a mystery of what happened to the heroine of the stories uncle, and who she can trust. It has betrayal and redemption and love all wrapped up in one great novel. I had a hard time putting this book down and I am grateful that I had a chance to discover a new author to dive into on the rainy season coming up while curled up in warm blankets with my cat snuggled by me.
As chronic illness babes one of the ways we cope is by distracting ourselves from the pain that our body is putting us through and this is one book that you can dive into and get lost in the story.
