Being authentic has been a life lesson for me. I grew up not being allowed to be who I was created to be. When I reached my 30’s and discovered I had several chronic illnesses I realized the importance of being authentically me with Jesus’ help. In Seeley’s book Tailor Made you go on Seeley’s journey to becoming herself. I kept wanting to jump out of my wheelchair and shout me too and wow, holy moly, Jesus is awesome with every chapter that I read. This book is a keeper and one that I will reread time and time again.
I also appreciate the fact that the author authentically shared her own painful story. She not only shared her heart, but her process of healing with Jesus. That took courage. That took bravery as she stepped through the painful path with Jesus as she walked through the struggle, the muck, the grind, and the chaotic messes she experienced.
I recommend this book to anyone who is walking through pain and needs encouragement and support.
