When I picked up Kenny Luck’s book Dangerous Good I didn’t realize it was geared towards men and their identity in Jesus. Even though it is geared towards men and their relationship with Jesus I am still glad I read it. The reason why is so that I know how they think and how they need to be supportive. This world is tough, it isn’t easy to go through the mind fields and the blasts to your identity and it helps me understand that this isn’t just a woman’s issue, but it is a human issue that affects both sexes. I appreciate Luck’s chapter on what Jesus responded to the Pharasees when he was asked what is the most important commandment. Jesus basically said to love the Lord your God and to love thy neighbor as thy self. If you purchase this book, it is chapter three.
I recommend men read this book no matter what their age is. This is a great encouragement and support for them.
