I had another sleepless so I picked up A Breath of Hope the new novel from Lauraine Snelling’s series. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this gem as I coughed and suctioned. I easily got lost in the story of Nilda, Gerd, Rune, and the many other characters of Snelling. Getting lost in a good story helps me handle my chronic illness and allows me to forget about my pain. Lauraine Snelling’s book does this.
I appreciate a story that illustrates a family working together for a common goal, not just focusing on their own wants and needs. That has been lost in the culture currently. It was nice to go back in time with things were different.
