I love how God works. I just finished one devotional and another one shows up. This time it is Lysa Terkeurst devotional “Embraced: 100 Devotions to Know God is Holding You Close”. I have read many of Lysa Terkeurst books and even her Proverbs 31 essays. I appreciate her candor, wisdom, and authenticity. This devotional is no different.
I love the beauty of this book, blue, soft cover, with slick pages along with scriptures and her insightful wisdom. This year I decided to Rebuild and I have felt God’s hands lead me to the books and scriptures and people and inspiration that I need to keep on moving forward. It’s been a hard year so far and sometimes this girl needs some balm to cool her heart and her wounds. Embrace is one of those books that does this.
