Courageous Women of the Bible by LaTan Roland Murphy surely gave me some great insight into how God uses us for his divine purpose. My favorite chapter in Murphy’s book is the one where she writes about the women with the flow of blood who touches Jesus garment. She believed if she just touched him she would be healed. I wish I had that kind of faith and hope in Jesus.
All of the women From Deborah to the woman at the well that Murphy writes about are strong, courageous women who step into battles and did it for Jesus and with a deep trust and faith in him. I appreciate that. I wish I had that kind of trust. I’m still a work in progress.
This book is a great read for those who want to dive deeper into the study of the women in the Bible who God used for his purposes. It gives us the knowledge that we are loved and valued too.
