I saw Hillsong United live in Portland Oregon a couple of years ago with my older sister. I deeply appreciate and feel connected to Jesus when I listen to Hillsong United. Brian Houston’s son is in the band and has written some of their worship songs. I have seen Houston’s programs when I flip through the channel but I have never stopped to hear him actually speak. I wanted to watch Joyce Meyer. Now that I know more of what Brian Houston I just might check out his shows on the Hillsong Channel.
There Is More by Brian Houston gives an indepth view of what more is in our faith. The part that I got from Houston’s book is that we can’t just sit around waiting for a miracle or something to happen from God. Sometimes action is needed, but God can and will lead us to what that action is. I firmly believe this myself. That is why when I get people saying believe in a miracle, maybe the miracle is that I am able to have courage and move through my health issue so that I can encourage and help someone else who is having a challenge themselves.
This is a book that is worth the time to read and it isn’t cheesy either.
