I enjoy reading memoirs, biographies, and autobiographies, so when a chance to read Michele Rigby Assad’s Breaking Cover came up I knew that I wanted to read it. I’m glad that I did.

If you are into CIA spy stories and learning about what it takes to become one then this is the book for you. I enjoyed Assad’s honesty about how it affected her and what it was like working in the Middle East. She sounds like a fantastic woman who I would love to sit down with tea and just talk with.

I enjoyed reading about how Assad and her husband helped a group of Iraqui’s move to Slovakia with the help of Roma Downey and her husband. The did a lot of interviewing and moving of these people. I love that it was successful despite the hitches. I admire Assad’s faith in God to get her through things too. I wish I had that kind of faith.
