Prayer has and is important in my daily life and relationship with God. When the opprotunity came for me to read Barry C. Blacks book Make Your Voice Heard In Heaven based on his 2017 speech at the U.S. Senate Prayer Breakfast I thought it would be insightful to read. I was right. His in depth look at the prayer model Jesus gave us in Matthew 6. This book make me rethink my prayer life and how I pray. I respect Black’s wisdom of diving deeper and revealing simple truths about the power of prayer and how praying helps build a deeper relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Although, this book is not long it still has a powerful message. It is worth reading even if you think you know about prayer, the importance, and even why we should pray. It is good to be reminded and to look at it in a different way. Anyone, especially those of us who are fighting health issues would appreciate this book.
