In exchange for my review I was given a copy of Tracie Peterson’s book Cherished Mercy by Bethany House. The opinions I express are my own and I was not influenced.
I love getting lost in a novel, especially historical novel such as Tracie Perterson’s Cherished Mercy. This is Peterson’s second book that I have read. I love that it is set when Oregon was a new territory and when Oregon was going towards being a state. This is where I live. She masterfully portrays both the missionaries, settlers, and the Native Americans. She illustrates the conflict and the problems well.
Cherished Mercy is the third in the Frontier Series. I am hopeful there will be more books coming n the future.
Anyone who enjoys historical novels will like this book and the series. Sometimes getting lost in a story helps me forget about my pain.
