Home by Elyse Fitzpatrick takes you on an adventure exploring what the new Earth will look like, feel like, and be like when Jesus comes back. To be honest, I had a hard time wrapping my mind around this concept. Not because Fitzpatrick is a horrible writer. She is an excellent writer. It is hard for me to wrap my mind around the concept of peace, and being led by the Good Shepherd. Instead of focusing on the negative I am going to focus on the things that I love about this book.
- I love that Fitzpatrick states her scripture references so that I can go find them and read them myself. Sometimes I had to read it a few times in order for my brain comprehend what is being said.
- I love the way she writes. Her imagination and how she spins her words is awesome. I understood her. I just had a hard time using my imagination because of the fact that no one in this life has ever experienced what God is planning yet. I think she is brave for writing about it.
- I love how she uses C.S. Lewis and other great writers to illustrate her points.
I recommend this book for those of us who want to expand our minds. This book definitely will do that.
