I read the news from the Huffington Post and so when I saw Arianna Huffington’s book “Thrive” offered on Netgalley I knew I had to read it. I am glad I did. Huffington offers a lot of great insight in how to take care of yourself from sleep, to meditations, and the most important theme unhooking one’s self from technology and social media. I am one of those rare souls that doesn’t have Facebook or Twitter on her phone and I only use the internet twice a day to check my Facebook, emails, and post on my blog.
Thrive is an excellent book and has a lot of great insightful tips on how to live a great and healthy life. Check it out, read it, and even do a few of the tips she suggests. One of the tips she writes about is getting better sleep. Sleep is something I have invested a lot in since I became sick with my Vasculitis disease in 2009. My bedroom is my quiet sanctuary. I love the fact that she is advocating for women of all ages to get to sleep so that they are less stressed and healthier. This is one sample of the wonderful life changing insights that Huffington shares.
Check out “Thrive” be inspired.
