A couple of years ago in 2011 or 2012 I discovered on Hulu the movie “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead” about Joe Cross he went on a nutrition adventure because he was tired of having his auto-immune disease and being fat. I loved the film, I was inspired by the film, and I low and behold I received a juicer as a gift. I never did the 10, 15, or 30 day detox because due to my chemo medications it was not a good idea for me. But I still had juice, I made my own concoctions.
In Joe Cross’s new book “The Reboot with Joe Juice Diet” I am again inspired by this incredible man and the many who have gone and became successful with changing their nutrition. He even has a section of his book on how to deal with boredom while juicing. I love the recipes, not only does it have juice recipes, but also real food recipes. They are all vegan, I mean vegetable base recipes so that you are getting the micronutrients that we need to heal our bodies. Yet again I am inspired to get my juicer out and start juicing again. I know the reason I stopped juicing is because my caregiver whom I am not firing was not supportive or even encouraging when it came to it and he took over the job and put too much ginger or other things in the juices. I wanted to play with my juicing. Now that I will be freed it is time to explore again. Thank you Mr. Joe Cross for being an encouragement and supportive person in so many lives.
