Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did. I rested a lot, read a couple of books, journaled a lot, and even enjoyed some commodore in the media room over a Seattle Seahawks game. I find it fascinating that strangers can all cheer and act like friends over a football game, especially in my apartment’s media room. There were 6 of us in the small room, me not truly paying attention to the game but enjoying the high spirited reactions of the others who were enjoying the game.
Thursday of course was my infusion day so I had downloaded some books from Netgalley that I wanted to read and review, which I did. I was excited when I discovered that Dr. Wayne Dryer had a book offered that will be coming out in the New Year. I also made a pork roast with red potatoes the night I came home from the infusion so that meals would be easy and of course I am enjoying the fruit I received from family in California when my brother and his family went down there for Thanksgiving.
One thing I have noticed that I hadn’t until recently is my passion for life is reinvigorated. I want to live; I want to explore my passion with eating nutritious food and helping those who don’t have a voice get one. I am still working on my list of negative thoughts. I have a vision of creating cards that you not only read, but can touch, and feel the emotions that imminent from the cards so that true healing can occur. I have no idea how this will happen, I just know that it will. The first step is creating my list and that is what I am working on. I am also working on my book “Beyond The Trach” and I am sort of stuck, but I think it is because I have had a lot of stressors showing up in my life and I now feel like it is time to jump back into writing. Heck, I want it to be done by my 40th birthday so I can get my beta readers a reading and start editing and then finding a publisher. This weekend I discovered a Certification program I want to do someday when I have the major bucks, it would cost me $7,000 dollars to do it, but it is using psychology and eating and I think this would guide me to where I want to be in my life and that is encouraging health in all manners of life. If I sit and think about it I have had this burning desire since I was a kid. It is time to actually do something about it. I am praying and hopefully someday I will be able to step into this program and rock it.
Friday, hopefully will be going to Longview, Washington, my home town for the Christmas Joy Telethon that is sponsored by Living Ministries. I am looking forward to the music and the atmosphere with my fellow committee members, whom I haven’t seen in a while. I miss them all. If you are friend of mine of Facebook then I will be posting a link so you can watch it wherever you are at and even on Jamie Chases Butterflies Facebook page. It will be awesome, some worship music and Christmas cheer all to support a young man who is collecting cans so that he can buy Christmas gifts for other kids who are in need. And Living ministries needs funds in order to help our community. We get a lot of emails from individuals who need help with their electric bills, food, diapers, and many of the necessities of life. We want to help them, if we can. Living Ministries is all about building relationships in our community. And I think every single committee member exemplifies this to some degree in their lives. If you can show your support by coming down to the Electric bean and donating some cans or even some spare change or a prayer, we would love to have you there.
