“OMG! That’s Paleo” by Juli Bauer is a cookbook that I needed. I have read other books on Paleo and they seemed way too complicated on what I would cook. This book showed some awesome sweet treats, crock pot (like Juli, it is one of my favorite gadgets in the kitchen), and dishes to make with eggs.

I enjoy cooking, but since I have gotten sick my cooking has slide off into convenience foods that are not so great for my body. I will be changing this in the coming year, and I am going to use a few of the recipes in Bauer’s book. A few of the recipes I want to try and will be trying are: “Blueberry and Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Loaf”, “Simple Blueberry Muffins”, and “Stuffed Acorn Squash”. These are only a few of the ones I want to try, in actuality I want to try them all.

When I get paid I will be purchasing some almond flour and Coconut flour in order to try making my own breads this month. I want to make some blueberry muffins or bread or even banana bread without wheat. I enjoy baking and I haven’t done this in a long time.  That is why I enjoy reading and getting ideas from cookbooks and I got plenty from “OMG! That’s Paleo.”
